Here's how to find the Lomond Folk Festival site...
By Road:
From Glasgow, travel North on the A82 to the Stoneymollan Roundabout (Easily
recognised by a large wooden crown supporting a skein of flying geese - locally
known as the "rack of lamb") and turn right, signposted for Stirling.
At the next roundabout turn left and then right at the 'Lomond Shores' entrance
roundabout. Continue through the village to the Festival site which is on
your left, a few hundred yards beyond the bridge over the River Leven.
By Rail:
There is a regular service from Glasgow Queen Street to Balloch. Click

By Air:
Glasgow airport is situated on the M8 motorway 7 miles west of
Glasgow. From the airport to Balloch is a distance of 15 miles. Click

Balloch has a number of excellent Bed and Breakfast establishments. Details are available from the local Tourist Information Service. Some accommodation is also at the University of Strathclyde Campus Village in Glasgow.
